On a personal note: Early on in life, Bernice had visions of becoming a great trombonist. Now, she enjoys tooting the horn for her great clients.

As an Exponent senior counselor, Bernice’s expertise covers a broad range of brand management areas, from food to finance. While building client relationships and creating innovative, high-impact ideas for their brands, Bernice’s enthusiasm and ability to make instinctual adjustments has earned her a reputation as an unflappable PR practitioner. “You never have a perfect situation,” says Bernice. “And that certainly challenges you to be resourceful in order to get things accomplished.”

It’s this levelheadedness and improvisational flair that has helped her champion the causes for diverse and high-profile clients such as CHS; General Mills; North American Olive Oil Association; DuPont; Buffets, Inc.; Bellisio Foods; ConAgra Foods; and the California Raisin Marketing Board.

Does Bernice, in fact, have a weakness? “Pickles,” she admits. “I could sit and eat an entire jar of pickles.”
