On a personal note: Seth used to be a singer on a cruise ship, albeit a small vessel on Lake Superior. And even though his voice is heard in every meeting, this is one topic on which he’s silent.

As an Exponent senior counselor, Seth brings 12 years of experience in sports and consumer health marketing to the agency’s leadership team. With roots in Olympic sports and a memorable month on the ground in Sydney for the 2000 Olympic Games, Seth has leveraged his national and international media relations exposure for Exponent clients such as General Mills, Medtronic, NestlĂ© Purina, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis and the PGA of America.

Classically trained in advertising, Seth is now a staunch advocate of PR. Why does public relations make the most sense in marketing today? Because PR is about creating believers, he says. And believers carry the torch to their friends, family and beyond. We can’t imagine a more credible marketing channel than your mother, friend or colleague.

Which begs the question: For what is Seth carrying the torch? Diet Coke and LinkedIn, he admits. He’s the guy who turns down Diet Pepsi at a restaurant.
