In the months leading up to and during the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, Exponent PR and Johnson & Johnson forged the connection between optimal vision and performance for ACUVUE® brand contact lenses. By activating the company’s global Olympic commitment with sponsorship of the U.S. women’s soccer team and soccer star Heather O’Reilly, Exponent garnered millions of earned media impressions, built an Olympic fan base for Heather through MySpace, sent a team of brand advocates to Beijing and delivered product trials in unprecedented numbers.
