Through its Contact Lens Training Seminars, Johnson & Johnson’s The Vision Care Institute (TVCI) gives optometry students the real-world experience they need to become confident professionals. In 2007, attendance by optometry students was declining and TVCI’s relationships with optometry schools were strained. Exponent PR reversed that trend by drawing attention to the unique programs offered by TVCI and developing the comprehensive TVCI: Your Future In Focus Introductory Kit. The kits, deployed to all 19 U.S. optometry schools, helped generate a 90 percent attendance rate from optometry schools in 2008.
